The Danish designed Uridan Admiral is an excellent and cost-efficient waterless urinal bowl requiring minimal maintenance. It is available in a choice of colours.

How they work: The centrepiece of all Uridan urinals is the patented Uridan Odour Trap. This works with the aid of a barrier fluid called "Urilock". This consists of plant-based oils and is biodegradable. Because "Urilock" is lighter than urine, it floats on top and forms a seal which prevents drain odours from venting into the washroom. As urine passes through, "Urilock" re- forms to maintain the seal. The Odour Trap collects debris and requires periodic emptying and the “Urilock” changed. This is between 15000 and 20000 uses for the Admiral models.
Maintenance is therefore simple and infrequent and unlike most other waterless urinal systems, Uridan urinals do not require costly replacement cartridges. The initial price of Uridan urinals is a little higher than other makes, but the running costs are significantly lower.
