About Delivery

If you wish to check whether we can deliver the goods in time to meet your requirements, don’t hesitate to call 0345 202 4535. We can often deliver faster than the stated delivery times, especially if an order is placed before 3pm.

What are your delivery charges?
Whether the total value of your order is £1 or £5,000, the standard delivery charge when ordering from this site is always £10 if the delivery address is within mainland UK. For other locations, including UK islands and Ireland, delivery costs will vary depending upon the products ordered. Please call 0345 202 4535 for a quote.

Do you export outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland?
Gentworks does not send goods outside of the UK and Ireland although we have many customers who purchase our products for use in other countries, including within the Middle East and Africa. In all cases, customers make their own export arrangements, either collecting the goods from Gentworks or having them delivered to a shipping agent in the UK.  For Jersey, Guernsey and France, our customers have been pleased with the performance of Condor Logistics (www.condorlogistics.co.uk). For further afield, including the Middle East, we have successfully worked with Steve Banfield at Regional Freight Services Ltd. (www.regionalfreight.co.uk ) on several occasions.

How long will it take for products to reach the delivery address?
The delivery times stated for each product are representative of what we achieve in 95% of cases for that specific product. If you place an order and we have reason to believe that one or more of the items will not be delivered within the stated time, we will contact you as soon as possible with a new delivery date, giving the option to cancel the order. If the delivery address is in a remote location, for example in the middle of the Scottish Highlands, ceramic and stainless steel products may take longer to reach you. Please note that we are unable to specify the time of day your order will be delivered and all goods must be signed for.

By what method are products delivered?
We use the most appropriate method to get your order to you as quickly and economically as possible. If you order several products, they may arrive separately by different methods co-ordinated by our staff. Many items are despatched by next day courier from Gentworks’ warehouse located near Oxford or occasionally, for small low value products, by registered post. Ceramic goods require special care in transit and are delivered by our own vehicles, those of our trade partners or specialist courier services. Gentworks has long-standing volume discount arrangements with several large distributors and manufacturers, all with nationwide distribution.

What should I do if I have a problem with the delivery?
If you believe your delivery is late, missing an item or some damage has occurred in transit, please call us on 0345 202 4535 or email customerservices@gentworks.co.uk with the details. Please check the packaging and products thoroughly for items you believe may be missing. For example, fittings for urinals and cisterns are often taped to the inside of the cisterns.

If you have a technical query, please call us or email support@gentworks.co.uk . Our sales team know our products very well but, if they are unable to help you, we can arrange for you to speak with a Gentworks engineer or the manufacturer.
