The urinal blocks shown here can be used as an aid to reducing water consumption. They contain similar ingredients to those found in urinal sleeve products. Gentworks does not recommend their use completely waterless because hair and debris tend to stick to the blocks, making them unsightly. However, if the urinals are flushed approximately every 4 to 6 hours using a suitable electronic flush controller, these urinal blocks will help to combat the blockages and odours that would otherwise result from such low flush frequencies. If flushing occurs more than once every 2 hours continuously, the blocks are unlikely to bring any significant benefits.
